Born on 15th January 1983, Jeevan Mendis is an Sri Lankan international cricketer who has played in few ODI’s and T20 matches for Sri Lanka but is yet to make his Test debut for Sri Lanka.
He also plays in the Indian Premier League.

He is an all-rounder who hails from a family of cricketers. He is a leg-spinner who uses variations while bowling and is also a good striker with the bat and had scored an unbeaten double century in local domestci cricket.
In the players auction for IPL 2013, he was bought by the Delhi Daredevils team for US $50,000.
This is his debut IPL season. Lets hope that he gets chances to play for the team.
