In the Match 39 of season 6 of the Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2013), playing at their home ground in Raipur, Delhi Daredevils defeated Pune Warriors India.
Delhi Daredevils (DD) defeated Pune Warriors India (PWI) by 15 Runs.
It was the first match ever played at the International Cricket Stadium in Raipur, Chattisgarh.
Having won the toss, Pune Warriors India elected to field first and sent in Delhi Daredevils to Bat in first. They posted a total of 164/5 in 20 overs thanks to David Warner’s brilliant half century scoring 51 runs of 25 balls. Virender Sehwag scored 28 runs while Kedar Jadhav scored 25 runs.

For Pune Warriors India, Ashok Dinda took three wickets while Rahul Sharma and Abhishek Nayar took one wicket each.
In reply, Pune Warriors India had a good start with both openers playing well. Openers had laid the foundation of the match scoring 76 runs of 62 balls but then once they were out team lost the momentum and fell short by 15 runs at the end and reached a score of 149/4 in 20 overs.
For Delhi Daredevils Umesh Yadav and Irfan Path took two wicket each.
David Warner was named Man of the Match for his brilliant match winning half century.
