Breaking News of the moment comes from the field of Cricket where the Justice RM Lodha Committee has announced its verdict in the IPL Betting case.

CSK & RR Banned for 2 Years !

The Supreme Court committee headed by RM Lodha has proposed a two-year ban on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) apart from banning Gurunath Meiyappan, son-in-law of International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman N. Srinivasan and Raj Kundra, owner of Rajasthan Royals team and husband of actress Shilpa Shetty for life from any cricketing activity.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team official Meiyappan and Rajasthan Royals co-owner Kundra were found guilty of betting in the 2013 edition of the Twenty20 cricket tournament.

Latest media reports suggest that the teams are not suspended, only owners are.

If owners sell out, teams can play i.e., Chennai Super Kings, the team, can continue in the IPL if India Cements sells the team and similarly Rajasthan Royals can continue to play as a team if Raj Kundra and other owners of the team sell the team.
