Today Chennai Super Kings reached the Finals of IPL 2013 after defeating Mumbai Indians in the Qualifier 1 of Pepsi IPL 2013.
This is the fifth time the Chennai Super Kings have reached the finals of Indian Premier League.
Leaving the 2009 season apart where the team got out being defeated in the Semifinals by Royal Challengers Bangalore, the Chennai franchise has made it to the Finals of IPL in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and now 2013.
