In the Qualifier 1 of the season 6 of the Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2013), Chennai Super Kings defeated Mumbai Indians to enter the Finals of IPL 2013.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeat Mumbai Indians (MI) by 48 Runs.
Having won the toss, Chennai Super Kings elected to bat first. Michael Hussey and Suresh Raina played brilliantly scoring unbeaten 86 and 82 respectively to help the team reach a score of 192/1 in 20 overs.
For Mumbai Indians, Kieron Pollard was the lone wicket taker.

In reply, Mumbai Indians Aditya Tare early but Dwayne Smith played a good innings scoring 68 of 28 balls but once he was dismissed by Jadeja, Mumbai Indians kept on loosing wickets and in the end got all out for 144 runs in 18.4 overs.
For Chennai Super Kings, Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo took three wickets, Mohit Sharma took two wickets while Albie Mokel and Chris Morris took one wicket each.
Michael Hussey was named Man of the Match for his brilliant batting effort.
