Born on 14th September 1990, Suryakumar Yadav is an an Indian cricketer who plays for Mumbai in the domestic cricket. He also plays in the Indian Premiere League.
In a short span of domestic cricket, Suryakumar Yadav has already established his reputation as a prolific run-getter. The 21-year-old Mumbai middle-order batsman won the MA Chidambaram Trophy presented to the best cricketer at the U-22 level in the 2010-11 season. He scored more than 1,000 runs in his first 11 games in first-class cricket. He also is a part-time medium-pacer.

He was signed by the Mumbai Indians before IPL 2011 and was part of the team till IPL 2013 but in three seasons he just got one match to play in 2012.
In players auction for IPL 2014, he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs. 70 lakh.
