Delhi Daredevils is the Delhi franchise of the Indian Premier League in cricket. The franchise is owned by the GMR Group. Founded in 2008, the team is currently captained by Mahela Jayawardene and coached by former South African cricketer Eric Simons.
Ahead of players auction for IPL 2014, on January 10, 2014 Delhi Daredevils team announced that they will not retain any players for their current squad for the season 7 of IPL.
