DD out for 80 Runs – Lowest Total in IPL History for Delhi Daredevils

Today Delhi Daredevils achieved its lowest total in History of IPL cricket when it got bowled out for 80 runs in 19.1 overs playing at the Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

Previously on 18th April 2013, Delhi was bowled out for 83 runs against Chennai Super Kings, which was their lowest IPL total.

This is now becomes the 4th overall by any team as well in history of IPL.

Earlier Mahela Jayawardena won the toss and put their team to bat first but they ended up for a miserly 80.

For Delhi Daredevils Unmukt Chand was the highest scorer with 17 runs from 24 balls while for SunRisers Hyderabad Dale Steyn, Thisara Perera and Darren Sammy took two wickets each.

The lowest total in the IPL history is in the name of Rajasthan Royals which is 58 runs playing against Royal Challengers in Cape Town on 18 Apr 2009.
