Royal Challengers Bangalore lost both their openers early. Virat Kolhi played a good knock scoring 67 runs of just 41 balls. Yuvraj Sing and AB de Villiers chipped in hard runs to help team reach a score of 160/6 in their 20 overs.

For SunRisers Hyderabad, Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up two wickets while Parveez Rasool, Karan Sharma and Irfan Pathan picked up one wicket each.
Chasing this modest total, SunRisers Hyderabad had a good start with both openers playing well, both scoring half centuries. Shikhar Dhawan scored 50 runs of 39 balls while David Warner scored 59 runs of 46 balls. Naman Ojha scored useful 24 runs. In the end SunRisers Hyderabad achieved the target in the 20th over loosing 3 wickets.
