Who can forget Shikhar Dhawan’s international test debut against on 14th March 2013 at PCA Stadium, Mohali and scored the fastest century by any batsman on Test debut.
He played the opening season of IPL in 2008 for Delhi Daredevils. He played the nest two seasons (IPL 2009 and 2010) for Mumbai Indians. He was bought by the Deccan Chargers in players auction for IPL 2011 and played IPL 2011 and IPL 2012 for them.
He played the IPL 2013 season for new owners of the team from the Deccan under the Sunrisers Hyderabad banner. In the 10 matches played last season he scored 311 runs at an average of 38.87.
So far Shikhar Dhawan has played 68 IPL matches and scored 1851 runs at an average of 32.47.
Ahead of players auction for IPL 2014, he was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs. 12.5 Crores.
