Sachin Tendulkar Retires from IPL

Today after Mumbai Indians won its first ever IPL title, Sachin Tendulkar announced his retirement from Indian Premier League.

In the post match interview, Sachin Tendulkar said that he had to wait for World Cup for 28 years and IPL Title for six years…

He went on to add that the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be his last in the Twenty20 cricket tournament.

Sachin Tendulkar however missed the final as he was injured.

Chennai, in reply to Mumbai’s 148 for nine, could only manage 125 for nine. Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s 63 not out did not prove to be enough. Kieron Pollard smashed an unbeaten 60 for Mumbai and won the Man of the Match award for the match.
