In the match no. 41 of the season 7 of Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2014),  Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat Delhi Daredevils by 62 Runs.

Having won the toss at the Morera Stadium in Ahmedabad, Delhi Daredevils elected to field first.

Rajasthan Royals had a good start with both openers playing well. Ajinkya Rahane scored 64 runs of 50 balls. Then in the middle overs Kevon Cooper and Sanju Samson played well scoring 32 and 40 runs respectively and then James Faulkner made a quick fire unbeaten 23 of just 8 balls to help his team reach a score of 201/6 in their 20 overs.

For Delhi Daredevils, Shahbaz Nadeem and Imran Tahir picked up two wickets while JP Duminy picked up one wicket.

Chasing this big target Delhi Daredevils were always under pressure. They lost both the openers early and could never get back into the game. They kept loosing wickets at regular intervals. Manoj Tiwary played well scoring unbeaten 61 runs of 44 balls but did not get support at the other end. In the end their reached a score of 139/9.

For Rajasthan Royals, Rajat Bhatia picked up two wickets while Dhawal Kulkarni, Ben Cutting, James Faulkner, Kevon Cooper, Pravin Tambe and Stuart Binny picked up one wicket each.

Ajinkya Rahane was named the Man Of The Match for his brilliant batting performance in the match.

This win now unsure a sure place for Rajasthan Royals in play-offs of IPL 2014.
