South African batsman Rilee Rossouw joins Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) IPL 7 Squad as a replacement for injured Nic Maddinson.
“The IPL Event Technical Committee has approved Rilee Rossouw as a replacement player for Maddinson for the remainder of the Pepsi IPL 2014 season,” a media statement from IPL said today.
“Rossouw is eligible to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore with immediate effect,” it added.

In Players auction for IPL 2014, Royal Challengers Bangalore had bought Nic Maddinson for Rs. 50 lakhs.
Left-handed Australian batsman Nic Maddinson had opened the batting for RCB in two games, scoring 4 and 12 respectively but was forced to fly out due to an injury.
24 year-old Rilee Roussow has been a regular in the South Africa A squad since 2010 and has been a heavy scorer in the domestic circuit as well.
