In the Match 70 of season 6 of the Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2013), playing at their home ground in Bangalore, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Chennai Super Kings to  keep themselves alive in the tournament.

Rain had delayed the start of the match and finally the match got converted into eight over a side match, hence we were sure of some hard hitting by both teams.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to field first and sent in Royal Challengers Bangalore to bat first. Virat Kolhi played a brilliant innings scoring 56 of 29 balls and with help of his innings team managed to put a total of 106/2 in 8 overs.

For Chennai Super Kings, Dwayne Bravo and Mohit Sharma took one wicket each.

Chasing this Big score, Chennai Super Kings lost two wickets in the second over of the match and never recovered from that. Finally they ended on 82/6.

For Royal Challengers Bangalore, Zaheer Khan took four wickets while Ravi Rampaul and Vinay Kumar took one wicket each.

Virat Kolhi was named Man of the Match for his brilliant all-round effort.
