On Friday, November 21, talented left-arm spinner Iqbal Abdullah was acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) from Rajasthan Royals (RR) for the upcoming IPL 2015 season.
He is the fifth player traded so far during the first trading window which started on October 6 and will get over on December 12.
He is the second player bought so far by RCB during this first trading window. Earlier they had acquired Manvinder Bisla from KKR.

BCCI secretary, Sanjay Patel confirmed this news in a press release.
24-year-old spinner, Iqbal Abdullah won the Emerging Player of the Year award in IPL 2011 where he took 16 wickets, while playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
He was also the part of KKR team in 2012 when they won their first IPL title.
He was picked by Rajasthan Royals in the players auction for IPL 2014.
So far, Iqbal Abdullah has featured in 41 IPL matches and has picked up 40 wickets.
Meanwhile the season 8 of Indian Premier Leage (IPL 2015) is scheduled to take place from 8 April to 24 May 2015, soon after the ICC Cricket World Cup which gets over on 29 March 2015.
