He is a member of the elite 10,000-run club in both, Tests and ODIs. He is also the only batsman in Test history to score a century in every Test-playing nation.

Fir the first three seasons of the IPL (2008 to 2010) he was associated with the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. In the players auction for IPL 2011, he was bought by the Rajasthan Royals for US $ 500,000 and he currently plays with them.
Dravid was the team’s highest run-getter in IPL 2011 and has taken over the reins from Shane Warne since IPL 2012, emerging as the second highest run-getter for Rajasthan Royals.
