PWI vs SRH IPL 2013 Match 22 Result : Hyderabad beat Pune by 11 Runs

In the Match 22 of season 6 of the Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2013), SunRisers Hyderabad defeated Pune Warriors India in their home ground in Pune in a low scoring match.

SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Pune Warriors India (PWI) by 11 runs.

It was brilliant bowling performance by both team with the match seeing fall of 18 wickets in all.

Having won the toss, Pune Warriors India (PWI) elected to field first and thanks to brilliant bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, SunRisers Hyderabad were restricted to 119/8 in 20 overs. Biplap Samantray was the highest scorer with 37 runs from 37 balls while Amit Mishra scored a quick fire 30 of 24 balls.

For Pune Warriors India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took three wickets, Rahul Sharma took two wickets while Ashok Dinda and Mitchell Marsh took one wicket each.

In reply, Pune Warriors India were bowled out for 108 in 19th over of the match. At one point of time Pune Warriors India were at 95/4 after 16 overs and needed 25 runs from 4 overs but they kept on loosing wickets and in the 19th over of the match Amit Mishra took 4 wickets (including a hat-trick) to bowl out the Pune Warriors India team.

For SunRisers Hyderabad, Amit Mishra took four wickets, Thisara Perera took three wickets while Ishant Sharma, Dale Steyn and Karan Sharma took one wicket each.

Amit Mishra was declared Mat of the Match for his brilliant overall performance.
