PWI vs RR IPL 2013 Match 13 Result : Pune beat Rajasthan by 7 Wickets

In the Match 13 of season 6 of the Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2013), playing at their home ground in Pune, the Pune Warriors India defeated the unbeaten Rajasthan Royals.

Pune Warriors India (PWI) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 7 Wickets.

Having won the toss, the Rajasthan Royals elected to bat first. After loosing a wicket on the first ball, Ajinkya Rahane and Dravid played well and the team reached a respectable total of 145/5 in 20 overs. Dravid scored 54 runs of 48 balls.

For Pune Warriors India, Rahul Sharma and Yuvraj Singh took two wickets each while Bhuvneshwar Kumar took one wicket.

In Reply, Pune Warriors India had a brilliant start thanks to Robin Uthappa who scored 32 runs of 16 balls before getting out. Aaron Finch scored a brilliant half century scoring 64 of 53 balls and then at the end Yuvraj Singh scored 28 runs of 23 balls to reach the target in 18.4 overs loosing just three wickets.

For Rajasthan Royals, James Faulkner took two wickets and Harmeet Singh took one wicket.

With this Win Pune Warriors end their loosing streak after loosing the first two games played this season. It was a much need win for the team to boost their confidence so that they can perform better this season, after having performed poorly in the two seasons played earlier.
