Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Pune Warriors India (PWI) by 5 Wickets.

Having won the toss, Pune Warriors India elected to bat first and posted a total of 112/8 in 20 overs. Yuvraj Singh was the highest scorer with 33 runs of 29 balls.

For Mumbai Indian, Mitchell Johnson, Abu Nechim and Lasith Malinga took two wickets each while Harbhajan Singh took one wicket.

In reply Mumbai Indians comfortably chased this target loosing five wickets in 18.5 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma was highest scorer with 37 runs from 41 balls.

For Pune Warriors India, Ashok Dinda took two wickets while Kane Richardson, Ajanta Mendis and Yuvraj Singh took one wicket each.

Mitchell Johnson was named Man of the Match for his brilliant bowling spell of 4 overs 2 Wickets for just 8 Runs.

With this win Mumbai Indians are now second in the points table with 9 wins from 13 matches and are almost certain to reach IPL 2013 playoffs.
