In the match no. 6 of the Season 6 of the Indian Premier League, Kings XI Punjab defeated Pune Warriors India in front of their home crowd at the Subroto Roy Stadium in Pune.

Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) defeated Pune Warriors India (PWI) by 8 wickets in a match which was totally one sided affair from the start.

Batting first, Pune Warriors Indian posted the lowest IPL 2013 total in the matches played so far, they managed 99/9 in 20 overs. Abhishek Nayar scored 25 runs and Robin Uthappa scored 19 runs.

In reply, Kings XI Punjab easily chased the target scoring the required 100 runs in 12.3 overs loosing just 2 wickets thanks to Mandeep Singh’s 31 of 26 balls and Manan Vohra’s  brilliant 43 not out of 28 balls.
