In the Match 71 of season 6 of the Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2013), playing at their home ground in Pune, Pune Warriors India beat Delhi Daredevils to finish the tournament on the second-last spot.

Pune Warriors India (PWI) defeat Delhi Daredevils (DD) by 38 Runs.

Having won the toss, Pune Warriors India elected to bat first. Captain Aaron Finch scored 52 runs of 34 balls and Luke Wright scored 44 runs of 23 balls. With help of their contributions Pune Warriors reached score of 172/5 in 20 overs.

For Delhi Daredevils, Siddharth Kaul took two wickets while Irfan Pathan, Umesh Yadav and Shahbaz Nadeem took one wicket each.

In reply, Delhi Daredevils batting once again faltered and they ended their 20 overs on 134/9. Muralidharen Gautam was the highest scorer for Delhi Daredevils scoring 30 runs.

For Pune Warriors India, Angelo Mathews and Ali Murtaza took three wickets, Ashok Dinda took two wickets while Wayne Parnell took one wicket.

Luke Wright was named Man of the Match for his brilliant batting effort.
