In the Match 42 of season 6 of the Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2013), Chennai Super Kings defeated Pune Warriors Indian at their home ground in Pune.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Pune Warriors India (PWI) by 37 Runs.
Having won the toss, Chennai Super Kings elected to bat first and posted a total of 164/3 in 20 overs thanks to Suresh Raina’s unbeaten 63 runs and Captain Dhoni’s unbeaten 45 runs.
For Pune Warriors India, Rahul Sharma, Kane Richardson and Luke Writgh took one wicket each.

In reply, Pune Warriors batting once again collapsed and this time around they had terrible mix up’s and had three run outs. Apart from Steven Smith no one played well as all top order batsman kept on giving away their wickets and finally the team ended up on 127/9 in 20 overs.
For Chennai Super Kings, Mohit Sharma took three wickets while Ravindra Jadeja, Chris Morris and Dwayne Bravo took one wicket each.
It can surely be said the Pune Warriors are not at all playing like Warriors….
Mohit Sharma was named Man of the Match.
