In match no. 42 of Season 6 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2013), Chennai Super Kings defeated Pune Warriors Indian by 37 runs.
Having won the toss, Chennai Super Kings elected to bat first and posted a total of 164/3 in 20 overs thanks to Suresh Raina’s unbeaten 63 runs and Captain Dhoni’s unbeaten 45 runs.
In reply, Pune Warriors batting once again collapsed and this time around they had terrible mix up’s and had three run outs. Apart from Steven Smith no one played well as all top order batsman kept on giving away their wickets and finally the team ended up on 127/9 in 20 overs.
