With 33 wickets and 594 runs, Parvez Rasool was the leading run-getter and the highest wicket-taker for J&K in the Ranji Trophy 2012-13 season.
In 2013 IPL auctions he was signed by the Pune Warriors India on the back of a successful domestic season. He became the first player from Jammu & Kashmir to play in the Indian Premier League.
In the last season he just got to play in 2 matches where he scored 5 runs and took 1 wicket.
In players auction for IPL 2014, he was again bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad, this time around for Rs. 95 lakhs.
