Its now official ! Mohammed Shami is out of IPL 2015 with a knee injury.

Yes it might be a sad news for fans and supporters of Delhi Daredevils team which is trying hard to improve upon its performance this season after two horrible seasons.

Recently, the BCCI officially confirmed that Mohammed Shami has been ruled out of the ongoing season of Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2015) due to a knee injury which he sustained during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 last month.

“The IPL Technical Committee has approved a replacement for Mohammed Shami in the Delhi Daredevils (DD) team. Shami has been ruled out of the ongoing IPL season due to a knee injury. The Delhi Daredevils therefore have the option of picking a replacement player,” an IPL media release stated.

According to latest reports, Mohammed Shami may need to undergo a surgery and an intense rehabilitation programme after that and hence there is very little possibility of Shami returning for India’s next away assignment in Bangladesh.
