In match no. 55 of Season 6 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2013), Rajasthan Royals defeated Kings XI Punjab by 8 Wickets in front of their home crowd in Mohali, Punjab.

Winning the toss, Rajasthan Royals elected to field first and sent in Kings XI Punjab to bat in first. KXIP posted a total of 145/6 in 20 overs. Shaun Marsh played a brilliant innings of 77 runs of 64 balls and captain Adam Gilchrist scored 42 runs of 32 balls.

Rajasthan Royals comfortably chased this total loosing just two wickets in 19 overs. Ajinkya Rahane one again played well scoring 59 runs of 49 balls while Sanju Samson scored 47 runs of 33 balls.
