In the match no. 55 of the season 7 of Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2014), Kings Xi Punjab (KXIP) beat Delhi Daredevils (DD) by 7 Wickets.

Having won the toss at the PCA Stadium in Mohali, Kings XI Punjab elected to field first.

Delhi Daredevils had a poor start loosing opener Mayank Agarwal early. Wickets kept on following and only Kevin Pietersen stood the ground and scored 58 runs of 41 balls. In the end Delhi Daredevils got out for 115 runs in 18.1 overs.

For Kings XI Punjab, Parvinder Awana, Akshar Patel, Mitchell Johnson and Karanveer Singh picked up two wickets each while Rishi Dhawan picked up one wicket.

Chasing this modest total, Kings XI Punjab lost the wicket of Virender Sehwag early but Manan Vohra scored 47 runs of 38 balls while David Miller scored unbeaten 47 runs of 34 balls and Kings XI Punjab chased the target in 13.5 overs loosing 3 wickets.

For Delhi Daredevils, Mohammed Shami, Jaidev Unadkat and Imran Tahir picked up one wicket each.

Manan Vohra was named Man of the Match for his brilliant batting performance.
