In match no. 67 of Season 6 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2013), playing at their home ground in Dharmshala, Kings XI Punjab defeated Delhi Daredevils by 7 Runs to keep their slim chances to reach IPL 2013 Play Offs alive.

Having won the toss, Delhi Daredevils elected to field first and sent in Kings XI Punjab to bat first. Kings XI Punjab posted a total of 171/4 in their 20 overs thanks to somewhat equal contributions by Adam Gilchrist, Shaun Marsh and David Miller, all scoring forty odd runs.

For Delhi Daredevils, Ashish Nehra took two wickets while Irfan Pathan and Morne Morkel took one wicket each.

In reply chasing this big score Delhi Daredevils lost few wickets early on. Captain Mahela Jayawardena scored 39 of 42 balls but wickets kept falling on other end. Virender Sehwag who came down to bat scored 30 runs before getting out. Ben Rohrer played a brilliant innings scoring 49 of 29 balls but once he was out it was all over. Delhi finally ended on score of 164/7 at the end of 20 overs.

For Kings XI Punjab, Sandeep Sharma took three wickets, Piyush Chawla took two wickets while Praveen Kumar and Parvinder Awana took one wicket each.
