Born on 29th April 1990, James Peter Faulkner is an Australian cricketer. He plays for Tasmania in the Australian domestic cricket and also plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He also plays in Australia’s Big Bash League.
He is an all-rounder. A left-arm medium pacer and a right-hand batsman, Faulkner has consistently picked up key wickets and also chips in with a few handy runs while batting in the lower-middle order.

He was part of the Pune Warriors India team in IPL 2011, and then a part for Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2012. However he has just played three IPL matches between IPL 2011 and IPL 2012.
During the players auction for IPL 2013, he was bought by the Rajasthan Royals for $400,000 and he played well for the team in 2013. He took 28 wickets in 16 matches at an average of 15.25.
Ahead of players auction for IPL 2014, he was retained by Rajasthan Royals team for Rs. 9.5 Crores.
Lets hope that he get few chances to pay for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2014.
