In the Match 19 of season 6 of the Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2013), Pune Warriors India defeated Chennai Super Kings at their home ground in Chennai.

Pune Warriors (PWI) defeated Chennai Super Kings by 24 runs.

Having won the toss, Pune Warriors Indian elected to bat first. Aaron Finch scored a brilliant half century scoring 67 of 45 balls and then at the end a quick fie of 39 runs from 16 balls helped Pune Warriors India to reach a score of 159/5 in 20 overs.

For Chennai Super Kings, Chris Morris and Dwayne Bravo took two wickets each while Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket.

In reply, Chennai Super Kings kept on loosing wickets at regular intervals and could manage to reach a score of 135/8. Badrinath was the top scorer with 34 runs from 26 balls.

For Pune Warriors India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashok Dinda and Mitchell Marsh took two wickets each while Abhishek Nayar and Rahul Sharma took one wicket each.

It was a good comeback for the Pune Warriors team after loosing 3 matches from the 4 matches played prior to this match. Now they have four points after winning 2 matches from the 5 matches played so far.
