In a recent interview, Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer Zaheer Khan said that he wants to bowl at Super Over in the IPL as he is excited at the prospect of two good deliveries ending a contest.

The team Royal Challengers Bangalore has featured in both the two Super Overs played so far this seasons. Vinay Kumar bowled the Super Over against SunRisers Hyderabad while Ravi Rampaul bowled the Super Over against Delhi Daredevils.

“I will take wickets. We just have to take two wickets to get the team out. Let’s look at it that way,” said Zaheer Khan who is yet to play a game this season.

“Honestly I have never been part of Super Over. So it is interesting for me to see how it goes and you can’t plan anything. That is the way I look at it. You have to back yourselves and back your instinct. You know the batter is going to come at you,” he said.

Asked about the status of his recovery from injury, Zaheer said he was feeling better and hoping to start bowling a soon as possible.

“If I start bowling things will be easier,” he said.
