Breaking News of the moment comes from Delhi where Rajasthan Royal’s fast bowler S. Sreesanth have been arrested by the Delhi Police on charges of spot fixing in IPL.

He is not the only cricketer who has been arrested. Two other cricketers from Rajasthan Royal’s team have also been arrested. They are Ankit Chavan and Ajit Chandilia.

All these players have been arrested from Mumbai’s Trident Hotel.

All these players have been arrested under sections 420, 120B.

According to latest reports on TV channels like Aaj Tak, NDTV, ABP Star News, Zee News, etc these three players were arrested today morning.

Apart from them, police has also arrested seven bookies including three from Delhi.

Police sources said the players have been accused of spot-fixing in matches played by Rajasthan Royals on 9 and 15 May 2013 against Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians respectively.

The Rajasthan Royals IPL franchise is co-owned by Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty are playing well in IPL 2013 and have qualified for the IPL 2013 playoffs.

This is not the first time Sreesanth has been involved in an IPL Controversy. Earlier in IPL 2008 he was in news for a fight with sinner Harbhajan Singh.

In his Cricket Career Sreesanth has so far played 53 ODIs and 27 Tests.
