In the Eliminator Match of the season 6 of the Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2013), Rajasthan Royals defeated SunRisers Hyderabad to enter the Qualifier 2 of IPL 2013 and send our SunRisers Hyderabad.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeat SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 4 Wickets.
Having won the toss, SunRisers Hyderabad elected to bat first. They lost the wicket of Parthiv Patel in the first over itself and then kept on loosing wickets regularly and were restricted to a total of 132/7 in 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan scored 39 runs of 31 balls, Captain Cameron White scored 31 runs of 28 balls while Darren Sammy scored 29 runs of 21 balls.
For Rajasthan Royals, Vikramjeet Malik took two wickets while James Faulkner, Shane Watson and Siddharth Trivedi tool one wicket each.

In reply, Rajasthan Royals had a good start but then lost the way in middle but again at the end Brad Hodge played a brilliant innings scoring unbeaten 54 runs of just 29 balls and winning the match for his team.
For SunRisers Hyderabad, Darren Sammy took two wickets while Dale Steyn, Ishant Sharma, Karan Sharma and Amit Mishra took one wicket each.
Brad Hodge was named Man of the Match for his brilliant batting effort.
