In match no. 60 of Season 6 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2013), Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 Wickets in front of their home crowd in Ranchi.

Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and elected to field first and sent in Royal Challengers Bangalore to bat in first. RCB kept on loosing wickets regularly and were restricted to 115/9 in 20 overs. Chris Gayle was highest scorer with 33 runs of 36 balls.

For Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunil Narine took four wickets, Lakshmipathy Balaji and Jacques Kallis took two wickets each while Sachithra Senaanayake tooke one wicket.

In reply, Kolkata Knight Riders chased the target in 19.2 overs loosing five wickets. Jacques Kallis was highest scorer with 41 runs of 45 balls.

For Royal Challengers Bangalore, Vinay Kumar took two wickets while Ravi Rampaul, Ahimanyu Mithun and Murali Karthik took one wicket.
