The Mumbai Indians had the game firmly in their hand until the opposition skipper MS Dhoni threatened to derail the efforts of the Ricky Ponting-led squad. In the final over of the game, MI all-rounder Kieron Pollard took a blinder of a catch to dismiss Dhoni and help record the first win for the team.

Ricky Ponting - 09th April 2013 – Mumbai Indians v/s Delhi Daredevils at Mumbai -
Even at the age of 40, Ricky Ponting remains one of the best fielders in the game. The very first ball of the competition’s innings saw Ponting take a brilliant catch to see off Delhi Daredevils opener, Unmukht Chand. To add to it, the bowler was none other than Harbhajan Singh and it seems that the duo have let bygones be bygones.

Kings XI Punjab player Gurkeerat Singh pulled off a catch of Superman skill when he caught the ball off Pune Warriors player Ross Taylor’s bat.

Indian batsman Ajinkya Rahane made fielding sensation and Mumbai Indians coach Jonty Rhodes proud when he pulled off a stunning catch to dismiss the Delhi Daredevil captain Mahela Jayawardene.
Rahul Dravid - 11 Apr 2013 – Pune Warriors v/s Rajasthan Royals at Pune -
Even though the Royals lost the match to the Warriors, Rahul Dravid held on to an excellent catch to send back Pune batsman Robin Uthappa off the bowling of James Faulkner. The skipper is setting exceptional standards with the bat and on the field.
