Now that season 7 of Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2014) is over lets start talking about the next season.
By the way, Kolkata Knight Riders were the champions this season. They defeated Kings XI Punjab in the finals of IPL 2014 on June 1, 2014.
I am sure Cricket fans across the world would now start waiting for Season 8 of Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2015)….

Season 8 of Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2015) will be played some where in May – June 2015, and few months before the tournament we will see the players auction.
Now the interesting this over here is that when will the players auction for IPL 8 take place.
Players Auction for IPL normally takes place in the month of February, but this time around during that period we have the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
Yes the 2015 Cricket World Cup is scheduled to take place in Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March 2015.
Now the important questions is, will the players auction take place BEFORE or AFTER the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
It seems the the players auction will definately take place before the world cup somewhere in January 2015 (may be in 2nd or 3rd week of January) because keep the players auction after the world cup say in 1st or 2nd week of April will be too late for the franchisee teams and the players as well as the tournament will start in Middle of May.
These are too early days to make any predictions, we will keep you updated as we get some official information.
