Today, Amit Mishra of SunRisers Hyderabad took the second Hat-trick in the current season of Indian Premier League (Pepsi IPL 2013).

Amit Mishra won the game for his side SunRisers Hyderabad with a superb final over in which he took four wickets.

First he dismissed Angelo Mathews on the second ball of the over and then took wickets on the fourth, fifth and sixth ball of the over dismissing Praveen Kumar, Rahul Sharma and Ashok Dinda.

Details of Wickets taken in thi Hat-trick :

1st Wicket of Hat-trick : (Praveen Kumar – LBW) :  Amit Mishra bowls a googly that lands on the middle and comes in to strike Kumar on the front pad. There is a loud appeal and the umpire raises his finger.

2nd Wicket of Hat-trick : (Rahul Sharma – Bowled) : Amit Mishra bowls a length ball, on the middle, Sharma goes for the slog and misses. The stumps are shattered.

3rd Wicket of Hat-trick : (Ashok Dinda – Bowled) : Amit Mishra bowls the googly outside off, Dinda prods forward to defend and misses. The ball sneaks through the gap between bat and pad and goes on to hit the off stump.

This is the 11th Hat-trick in the history of IPL and second in IPL 2013. Earlier yesterday, Sunil Narine had taken Hat-trick playing for Kolkata Knight Riders Team against Kings XI Punjab at the PCA Stadium in Mohali.

With this Hat-trick, he became the first player in IPL history to take three hat-tricks.

Previously Amit Mishra took hat-trick in IPL 2008 playing for Delhi Daredevils against Deccan Chargers and then again in IPL 2011 he took a hat-trick playing for Deccan Chargers against Kings XI Punjab.
